Summary
CASUALTY rates at more than one in ten speed camera sites in the region have worsened since they were introduced. Figures show accidents involving injuries at ten of 89 speed camera site have increased since enforcement began.
At 14 sites, the number of pedestrian casualties has increased while, at 28 sites, there has been no reduction in injuries where mobile and fixed cameras came into force.See the full content of this document
