THE anti-drink and drive message has got through to most women motorists, reveals research by women's car insurance specialist Diamond, but has failed to get through to quite as many men. The insurer's study showed more than six out of 10 women would only feel safe to drive having consumed no alcohol at all, compared with just four out of 10 men. And about a third of women would consider driving after one or two units compared to almost half of men.
CITROEN has just issued a new C5 saloon with a colour sat-nav system as standard, and titled it, appropriately, the VTR+NAV. It gets a seven-inch screen plus full media connectivity and sells from Pounds 18,795 for the 1.8i petrol model, to Pounds 22,195 for the 2.0-litre diesel automatic.
