ACCORDING to the Department For Work And Pensions (DWP), four million children in the UK live in households that cannot afford to replace worn out or broken furniture and three million children live in households that cannot afford to replace broken electrical items.
If you or your business has unwanted furniture or household goods, the following organisations could help prevent the amount of waste you send to landfill and give them to people who are in need: ? Furniture Re-use Network (www.frn.org.uk) distributes unwanted furniture and household goods to those in need, with at least five organisations operating in East Yorkshire.See the full content of this document
