HULL: University students are being urged to spot the signs of deadly brain bug meningitis and not confuse the symptoms with a hangover or "freshers' flu". Meningitis UK is offering potentially life-saving symptom cards to parents and students who are starting college or university. The charity is also appealing to students to ensure they are up to date with their meningitis vaccinations and to book an appointment with their doctor if they are not.
