I WAS astounded at the recent letter from R France of Middleton.
It was fairly obvious he/she hadn't bothered to find out the rules and regulations covering mobility scooters, For instance, there are two types of scooter, one that is road-worthy with a top speed of 8mph, which has to be insured, and another that is a pedestrian one, with a max speed limit of 4mph, which is walking pace.See the full content of this document
