IS THIS the only way they know to give us a better life by far? Hull Council have installed a big TV In Queen Victoria Square.

Will it feed the poor and homeless? Clear the streets of filth and grime? Or will it simply help that noble Queen To whileaway some time? Will it raise the standard in our schools? Give hope to our Nicolas and Sids? Will it prevent rapists and paedophiles From abusing our wives and kids? Will it bring both wealth and fortune To those shops that have not shut Or was it bought to raise the profile Of some well-known council nut? The time is now fast approaching When all Hull citizens must decide If that over-priced piece of metal Should be banished - like Humberside.
