Nikki Bastow, 33, married Daniel Kirke, 29, on May 3, 2009. The couple, of west Hull, held their wedding ceremony and reception at Tickton Grange, near Beverley. They had planned to honeymoon in Mexico but, as their trip coincided with the outbreak of the swine flu epidemic, were forced to cancel. Instead, they flew to Jamaica and Miami.
How did you meet and how long have you known each other? We've known each other for two-and-a-half years and we met on the Internet. We're both originally from Hull, but I was living in Leeds and he was in Reading at the time. I was planning to move back to Hull to be closer to my family and friends and he had also just bought a house in Hull.
