REGARDING the fear of the people of Holderness being like "ants in a bed of nails" due to three wind turbines being installed. I have never heard anything so ridiculous.
Regarding the proposed sites, if you are in Roos, would you be able to see the proposed turbines in Routh or Withernwick? Roos to Withernwick is a distance of eight miles - just how much of a visual impact could a wind turbine have? In my own case, the wind turbine at Croda is a mere four miles away, which is half this distance. If I walk to the hill at the top of our lane - from which you can see all of the city of Hull and use a pair of binoculars - if I look very, very carefully, I can just about pick out the Croda turbine in the far distance.See the full content of this document
