Hull Fc are mourning the death of Robin Coverdale, who was a member of the GB team that won the inaugural World Cup in France in 1954. He was 80.

Robin, also known as Bob, played in all four games, including the win over France in the play-off at the Parc des Princes Stadium, in Paris.
