Constructing a Brighter Future for Local Workforce ; Citycare: Apprentices Welcomed to Work On Site at Largest Scheme to Date

HULL Local Improvement Finance Trust company Citycare is welcoming a wave of apprentices on to its site at Wilberforce Health Centre, in Story Street, as part of the construction process. With an expected completion date of late 2011, the health centre will eventually be open from 8am to 8pm, 365 days a year, providing a range of services, including a walk-in GP surgery, as well as diagnostic, mental health and sexual health services to the city of Hull.

Citycare, the partnership between Sewell Group, NHS Hull, Community Health Partnerships and The UME Group, has welcomed apprentices on to the site in a scheme that will provide grounding for the city's youngsters who have expressed an interest in the construction industry.
