Today Holderness Ward surgery: An opportunity for residents to meet their local city councillors to raise issues and make comments about their area. On a bus from 5.40pm to 6.10pm on Glebe Road and 6.10pm to 7.10pm in Foredyke Avenue, Hull. No appointment necessary. Wednesday, November 10 Larkin25 lecture: The Philip To Monica: Dearest Bun lecture presented by Professor Anthony Thwaite at Middleton Hall, University Of Hull, Cottingham Road, Hull, at 6pm. Admission is free. Healthy activities: For retired people organised by ERYC and Howden and District U3A. It takes place from 2pm to 3.30pm every Wednesday until December 1 at Airmyn Village Hall. Friendship Club: At Anlaby Park Methodist Church, Anlaby Common.Open from noon for coffee, lunch is served at 12.50pm followed by a varied programme of activities. Cost is Pounds 2.50.
