Former Hull City wing wizard Ian Butler, recovering from two major heart operations, was given a standing ovation in 1997, when a dinner was held in his honour to remember his part in the epic years of the mid-60s.

It was a period when City won the Third Division championship, reached the quarter-final of the FA Cup and came within a whisker of a place in the top division.
