As supermarket shoppers get the taste for a glass or two at Christmas, Morrisons have announced they will be launching an own- brand range of white, red and sparkling wine and champagne. From now until February, there will be 54 new wines in total.

The decision follows research from the retailer which shows 74 per cent of Brits claim price is their main motivation when choosing a wine ahead of the label (44 per cent), colour (42 per cent) and matching their food (38 per cent).
